United Methodist Men's Fellowship
United Methodist Men shall be a creative, supportive fellowship of men who seek to know Jesus Christ, to grow spiritually, and to seek daily his will. Its primary purpose is to declare the centrality of Christ in the lives of men and in all their relationships.
We meet on the second Sunday of each month in the Fellowship Hall at TFUMC at 7:00am. Breakfast is prepared and served each month by various Sunday School classes on a rotating basis. We have breakfast, a brief business meeting and a timely guest speaker. We usually adjourn by 8:00am in plenty of time to attend the 8:25am church service. We will provide transportation to and/or from the meeting if desired. See phone numbers shown later.
The United Methodist Men engage in a variety of projects in the church, the community, and the local Birmingham area. We host fundraisers throughout the year to enable us to fund numerous activities. We have a "Helping Hands" workgroup which will provide transportation, minor house repairs, yard work, etc. for Church members as well as nonmembers. There is no charge for any of these services and we do not accept donations. Please call for more information about any of our ongoing projects or to use our "Helping Hands" services.
